Registered Nurse - Cardiothoracic Operating Room

Duke University Health System is looking for a dynamic Registered Nurse to join our Cardiothoracic Operating Room team. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required. The ability to possess a strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices, as well as medical terminology, is an absolute must. The successful candidate must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to professional development and regulations to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilites:

• Provide safe, effective, and efficient care to patients according to hospital standards

• Ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations to ensure quality patient care

• Collaborate with other team members to provide the highest level of care

• Possess a valid Registered Nurse license and at least two years of experience in a Cardiothoracic Operating Room setting
