Job Description

At Duke University Health System, we are looking for a Psychometrician with broad experience in psychological assessment to join our team. This individual will have the opportunity to serve as a leader in developing and supporting the use of psychometric principles and practices across the health system. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field, as well as experience with statistical software, psychometric methodology, and psychological assessment. Additionally, we are looking for someone with excellent communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced team and to make an impact in the field of psychological assessment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of psychometric principles and practices across Duke University Health System.
  2. Develop and deliver psychometric and statistical models to support decision making.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of psychometric assessment processes.
  4. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of psychometric principles and practices.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors to ensure quality assurance.
  6. Provide training and guidance on the use of psychometric principles and practices.
  7. Ensure that all activities are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in the field of psychological assessment and psychometrics.
  9. Prepare and present reports and other documents related to psychometric activities.
