Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen at Duke University Health System for a Program Manager - Patient Experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of patient-centered initiatives to ensure patient satisfaction and improve the patient experience.To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent organizational and communication skills as well as a passion for patient-centered care. You must also have a Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare operations or patient experience. Prior experience in a large healthcare system is preferred.This is a highly rewarding position that requires a motivated, team-oriented individual with a commitment to improving the patient experience. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement patient-centered initiatives to ensure patient satisfaction and improve the patient experience.
  2. Develop strategies to improve the patient experience.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of patient experience initiatives.
  4. Coordinate and collaborate with department leaders to ensure that patient experience initiatives are met.
  5. Provide guidance and support to staff in order to ensure the highest level of customer service.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
  7. Develop and manage budgets for patient experience initiatives.
  8. Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement in patient experience.
  9. Prepare reports and presentations to effectively communicate the results of patient experience initiatives.
  10. Develop and foster a positive work environment to ensure successful patient experience initiatives.
