- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and self.

- Perform calculations and measurements accurately to ensure correct dosages and medication amounts.
- Utilize technology and computer systems to accurately record and track medication orders and patient information.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For A Pharmacy Technician - Sterile Compounding Position At Duke University Health System. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge To Perform The Job Responsibilities.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht): Candidates With A Cpht Certification From A Recognized Institution Are Preferred For This Role. This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Completed A Comprehensive Training Program And Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform Sterile Compounding Safely And Accurately.

Therefore, Candidates Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Pharmaceutical Calculations And Measurements To Ensure The Correct Dosage Is Prepared.
