Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient Operations Pharmacy

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient Operations Pharmacy at Duke University Health System to join our team of professionals! This individual must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a desire to learn and grow in the field of pharmacy.We require a minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital pharmacy, a current North Carolina pharmacy technician license, and a pharmacy technician certification from a nationally accredited certification board. Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional customer service to pharmacy customers
2. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when completing pharmacy tasks
3. Effectively communicate with customers and providers regarding their medication needs
4. Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
5. Maintain a clean and organized workspace
6. Follow all state and federal guidelines and regulations for pharmacy operations
7. Assist with training new pharmacy staff members
8. Process and fill prescription orders accurately and efficiently
9. Utilize automated systems to complete pharmacy tasks
10. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
