
Pharmacy Technician I-Inpatient Operations (Part-Time)

- Support the delivery of exceptional patient care by working collaboratively with the team of pharmacists.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of medication orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of medication inventory and patient information.
- Prepare and package medications for dispensing to inpatients.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safe handling and storage of medications.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills related to pharmacy operations and best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with department standards.
- Prioritize and manage workload to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and responsibilities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for process improvement.
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the job.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising pharmacists or department leadership.

Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Certification As A Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) From An Accredited Program.
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience As A Pharmacy Technician In An Inpatient Setting.
Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations And Medication Dispensing Systems.
