Pharmacy Technician I-Inpatient Operations (Part-Time)

1. Support the delivery of exceptional patient care by working collaboratively with the team of pharmacists.
2. Assist in the preparation and distribution of medication orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
3. Maintain accurate and complete records of medication inventory and patient information.
4. Prepare and package medications for dispensing to inpatients.
5. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safe handling and storage of medications.
6. Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members to provide outstanding customer service.
7. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies.
8. Continuously update knowledge and skills related to pharmacy operations and best practices.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with department standards.
10. Prioritize and manage workload to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and responsibilities.
11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for process improvement.
12. Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the job.
13. Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising pharmacists or department leadership.
