
Pediatric Surgery Nurse Practitioner
Duke University Health System is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pediatric Surgery Nurse Practitioner to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional pediatric surgical care to patients.
- Utilize excellent clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and treat patient conditions.
- Communicate with patients and their families in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Participate in patient education and follow-up care.
- Maintain patient records and document all treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Remain current on advances in pediatric surgery and best practices.
- Participate in departmental meetings and activities.
- Stay abreast of hospital policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills
Current Certification As A Nurse Practitioner From The American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc) Or Other National Certifying Body
Masters Of Science In Nursing
Three Years Of Pediatric Surgery Nursing Experience
Current North Carolina Rn License
Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification
Ability To Work With A Multidisciplinary Team
