- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric dermatology conditions, including but not limited to eczema, acne, psoriasis, and birthmarks.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients, taking into consideration their unique needs and medical history.
- Conduct thorough and accurate physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests to effectively diagnose and treat patients.
- Educate patients and their families on proper skincare practices and disease management techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, allergists, and surgeons, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research, treatments, and techniques in the field of pediatric dermatology.
- Participate in clinical trials and research studies to advance the field of pediatric dermatology.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
- Adhere to all medical and ethical standards and guidelines in patient care.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development and improvement of departmental policies and procedures.

Medical Degree: A Pediatric Dermatologist At Duke University Health System Must Hold A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution.
Pediatric Dermatology Residency: Candidates Must Have Completed A Residency Program In Pediatric Dermatology, With A Focus On Treating Skin Conditions In Children.
Board Certification: The Candidate Must Be Board Certified In Pediatric Dermatology By The American Board Of Dermatology.
Experience In Pediatric Dermatology: Applicants Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Pediatric Dermatologist, Preferably In An Academic Or Research Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team, A Pediatric Dermatologist Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Colleagues And Provide Compassionate Care To Young Patients And Their Families.
