
Patient Navigator - Gender Medicine
The Duke University Health System is seeking an experienced and compassionate professional to join our team as a Patient Navigator - Gender Medicine. This role is a unique opportunity for an individual with a strong clinical background and a passion for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to join a world-class health system. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of gender medicine, with a commitment to patient-centered care and a strong sense of teamwork. The Patient Navigator - Gender Medicine will use their expertise to coordinate patient care across the gender medicine program, as well as provide education and support to patients and families. This position will require excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.Required Qualifications:• A current, valid RN license or equivalent.• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in a health care setting.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• A deep understanding of gender medicine.• Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.• A commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient-centered care to patients and families.
- Coordinate patient care across the gender medicine program.
- Provide education and support to patients and families.
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Utilize excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite to manage and track patient care.
- Follow policies and protocols of Duke University Health System.
- Maintain current RN license or equivalent.
