- Provide high quality, compassionate care to patients suffering from chronic or acute pain.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective pain management plans for patients.
- Utilize knowledge and expertise in Anesthesiology and Pain Management to effectively assess and treat patients.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and advancements in pain management to ensure best practices are being used.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them on their condition and treatment options.
- Participate in team meetings and consultations to discuss patient cases and develop treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient care.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and practices to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to residents and medical students.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain board certification and enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other departments and specialties to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Uphold the values and mission of Duke University Health System in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.
- Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction through quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care.
- Represent Duke University Health System in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Board Certification In Anesthesiology From The American Board Of Anesthesiology.
Completion Of A Fellowship In Pain Management From An Accredited Program.
Active Medical License In The State Of North Carolina.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Pain Management In A Hospital Or Academic Setting.
Demonstrated Expertise In Advanced Interventional Pain Procedures, Such As Nerve Blocks And Spinal Cord Stimulation.
