
Outpatient Behavioral Health Nurse
Duke University Health System is seeking a compassionate and experienced Outpatient Behavioral Health Nurse to provide quality care to our patients. In this role, you will work with patients and their families to develop individualized care plans based on their unique needs. As the Outpatient Behavioral Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinic.To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a deep understanding of the complexities of behavioral health. You should also have experience with a variety of evidence-based practices and be knowledgeable in the areas of mental health diagnosis and treatment.If you are an enthusiastic and driven individual with the passion to make a difference in the lives of our patients, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinic.
- Develop individualized care plans for patients and their families based on their unique needs.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure quality care.
- Educate patients and families on mental health diagnosis and treatment.
- Monitor patient progress and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Remain abreast of changes in the field of behavioral health.
Excellent Communication Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing
Active Rn License In North Carolina
Cpr/Bls Certification
Experience Working With Outpatients In Behavioral Health
