  1. Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop treatment plans for orthopedic spine conditions.
  2. Perform surgical procedures, including but not limited to spinal fusion, laminectomy, and discectomy.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  4. Stay up-to-date on advancements and developments in the field of orthopedic spine surgery.
  5. Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to optimize patient outcomes.
  6. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding their condition and treatment options.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Candidate For The Orthopedic Spine Surgeon Position At Duke University Health System Must Have A Medical Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Board Certification: The Candidate Must Be Board Certified In Orthopedic Surgery By The American Board Of Orthopedic Surgery.

  • Fellowship Training: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Completed A Fellowship In Spine Surgery At A Reputable Institution.

  • Experience: The Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience As A Practicing Orthopedic Spine Surgeon, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Surgeries And Patient Outcomes.
