  1. Coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the nursing program at Duke University Health System.
  2. Ensuring the success and continuous improvement of the nursing program.
  3. Collaborating with the nursing faculty and staff to develop and implement program goals and objectives.
  4. Managing the program budget and resources effectively.
  5. Working closely with the human resources department to recruit and hire qualified nursing staff.
  6. Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as healthcare professionals, community partners, and regulatory bodies.
  7. Planning and organizing nursing program events, workshops, and conferences.
  8. Keeping up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in nursing education and incorporating them into the program.
  9. Monitoring and evaluating the performance of nursing students and providing feedback for improvement.
  10. Facilitating communication between students, faculty, and staff to ensure a positive learning environment.
  11. Maintaining accurate records and reports related to the nursing program.
  12. Ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and accrediting bodies.
  13. Identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that may arise within the program.
  14. Providing guidance and support to nursing students throughout their academic journey.
  15. Promoting the nursing program to potential students and maintaining positive relationships with alumni.
  16. Representing the nursing program and Duke University Health System at conferences, seminars, and other events.
  17. Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance and improve the nursing program.
  18. Upholding the mission, vision, and values of Duke University Health System in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of North Carolina.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Diverse Teams And Stakeholders.

  • Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Nursing Education Standards And Regulations, Including Accreditation Requirements.
