- Provide exceptional patient care: Deliver compassionate and high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Assist in surgical procedures: Support the surgical team by setting up equipment, preparing patients for surgery, and providing assistance during the procedure.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team: Work closely with surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain a safe environment: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Communicate effectively: Utilize excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Demonstrate compassion: Show empathy and understanding towards patients and their families, providing emotional support during their surgical experience.
- Perform nursing tasks: Administer medication, monitor vital signs, and assist with post-operative care as directed by the nursing team.
- Document patient information: Accurately and timely document patient information, including vital signs, procedures performed, and any changes in patient condition.
- Adhere to policies and protocols: Follow all organizational policies and protocols, including infection control, patient privacy, and safety standards.
- Continuously improve skills: Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with current practices and procedures.
Active Cna Ii Certification: Candidates Must Have A Valid And Active Cna Ii Certification From An Accredited Institution.
Prior Experience In A Surgical Setting: The Ideal Candidate Will Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Cna Ii In A Surgery Center Or Other Surgical Setting.
Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures And Equipment: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Surgical Procedures And Equipment, As Well As The Ability To Assist With Procedures And Handle Equipment Safely.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In A Surgery Center Environment, So Candidates Should Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment: Working In A Surgery Center Can Be Demanding, So Candidates Must Be Able To Thrive In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment While Maintaining A Calm And Professional Demeanor.
