- Perform nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper functioning and calibration.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and reactions during procedures.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of procedures and patient information.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.
- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
- Train and supervise students and other staff members as needed.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, and report any malfunctions or shortages.
- Handle and dispose of radioactive materials according to regulations.
- Continuously assess and improve personal technical skills and knowledge.
Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Current Arrt (N) Or Nmtcb Certification.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Nuclear Medicine Technologist In A Clinical Setting.
Proficiency In Performing A Wide Range Of Nuclear Medicine Procedures And Utilizing Various Imaging Equipment.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And Provide Excellent Patient Care.
