- Perform electroencephalogram (EEG) tests on patients according to established protocols and standards.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.

Bachelor's Degree In Neurodiagnostics Or Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Neuroscience And Diagnostic Techniques Is Essential For A Neurodiagnostic Technician - Eeg Position At Duke University Health System.
Certification In Eeg By The American Board Of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (Abret): This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Met Nationally Recognized Standards For Competency In Eeg Technology.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Eeg Technology: Duke University Health System Requires Candidates To Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Conducting Eeg Tests And Interpreting Results.
Knowledge Of Advanced Eeg Equipment And Software: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Operating And Troubleshooting Various Eeg Equipment And Software Used At Duke University Health System.
