Medical Lab Technician

The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.The Medical Lab Technician position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent, and prior experience in a clinical lab setting. Responsibilities:

1. Perform high-level laboratory services, including tests on blood, urine, and other bodily fluids.
2. Operate and maintain automated instrumentation, such as chemistry and hematology analyzers.
3. Provide quality patient care and adhere to safety protocols.
4. Analyze and interpret laboratory results.
5. Keep accurate and detailed records of laboratory tests and results.
6. Work both independently and as part of a team in order to meet goals.
7. Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
8. Maintain current certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent.
