Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to lead our Eye Center Clinic Operations at the Duke University Health System. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Eye Center Clinic, providing exceptional service to all patients, ensuring efficient and effective operations, and ensuring the highest level of quality care standards.To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a health care operations setting. You must also have a proven track record of successful clinic operations management, including experience developing and implementing strategies for improving operational processes and patient satisfaction. In addition, you must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing outstanding healthcare services to our patients and who is committed to our mission of delivering the best eye care possible. Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Eye Center Clinic.
  2. Ensure efficient and effective operations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  3. Ensure the highest level of quality care standards are met.
  4. Develop and implement strategies for improving operational processes and patient satisfaction.
  5. Monitor clinic performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Monitor patient satisfaction surveys, analyze results, and take appropriate action.
  7. Liaise with other departments and external stakeholders.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
  9. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the clinic.
  10. Monitor the budget and ensure that the clinic is operating within its financial constraints.
  11. Provide guidance and leadership to clinic staff.
  12. Supervise and evaluate staff performance.
  13. Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
  14. Maintain a positive and motivating work environment.
