  1. Provide high-quality and compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in the Children's Health Center Level 2/3.
  2. Utilize extensive knowledge and expertise in pediatric nursing to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
  4. Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs, treatments, and medications.
  5. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  6. Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.
  7. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols in providing care.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
  12. Serve as a patient advocate and promote patient rights and dignity.
  13. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  15. Follow standard nursing practices and guidelines.
  16. Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  17. Stay updated on current trends and advancements in pediatric nursing.
  18. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License In The State Of North Carolina.

  • Bls And Acls Certifications.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Registered Nurse In A Pediatric Or Children's Health Setting.

  • Certification In Pediatric Nursing (Cpn) Or Other Relevant Specialty (E.g. Pals, Nrp).

  • Experience With Electronic Medical Records Systems And Proficient In Computer Skills.
