We are excited to be searching for a Director of Medical Staff Recruitment to be part of the Duke University Health System team. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader and team builder who will be the primary point of contact for medical staff recruitment, onboarding, and retention. This individual will be a key contributor in ensuring Duke University Health System is able to achieve its mission of providing exceptional patient care.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of healthcare recruitment experience, including experience in physician recruitment, as well as experience in managing medical staff onboarding processes. In addition, the selected candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation, excellent organizational skills, and a working knowledge of laws and regulations related to healthcare recruitment. A proven track record of success in recruitment, onboarding, and retention is essential. Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact for medical staff recruitment and onboarding
- Work with healthcare professionals to identify and recruit qualified candidates
- Develop strategies to attract and retain healthcare professionals
- Develop and maintain relationships with medical staff and hiring managers
- Design and implement onboarding processes
- Monitor recruitment and onboarding activities to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Analyze recruitment data and trends to identify areas of improvement
- Develop and implement retention strategies
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless onboarding process
- Facilitate onboarding orientation and training sessions for new hires
- Develop and implement performance evaluation systems for new hires
- Manage administrative tasks related to recruitment and onboarding
