  1. Greet and welcome patients and their families to Duke University Health System with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and offering assistance to patients and their families.
  3. Maintain a high level of knowledge about Duke University Health System, its services, and its policies in order to accurately answer questions and provide information to patients and their families.
  4. Handle patient inquiries and requests promptly, efficiently, and accurately.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.
  7. Keep detailed and accurate records of patient interactions, including complaints and compliments.
  8. Handle difficult or sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care.
  10. Assist in the resolution of patient complaints and escalate issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
  11. Identify opportunities for improvement in customer service processes and procedures.
  12. Attend training sessions and stay updated on new products, services, and policies to continuously improve customer service skills.
  13. Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with team members to achieve department goals.
  14. Adhere to all Duke University Health System policies and procedures.
  15. Embody the values of Duke University Health System in all interactions with patients, their families, and colleagues.
