- Greet and welcome patients and their families to Duke University Health System with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and offering assistance to patients and their families.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about Duke University Health System, its services, and its policies in order to accurately answer questions and provide information to patients and their families.
- Handle patient inquiries and requests promptly, efficiently, and accurately.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of patient interactions, including complaints and compliments.
- Handle difficult or sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care.
- Assist in the resolution of patient complaints and escalate issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in customer service processes and procedures.
- Attend training sessions and stay updated on new products, services, and policies to continuously improve customer service skills.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In Customer Service
