Medical Degree (Md Or Do): A Clinical/Translational Investigator At Duke University Health System Must Have A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Is Necessary For Understanding Patient Care And Conducting Clinical Research.
Residency And/Or Fellowship Training: Candidates Should Have Completed A Residency And/Or Fellowship Training In A Medical Specialty Relevant To Their Research Interests. This Will Provide Them With The Necessary Clinical Knowledge And Skills To Conduct Research In Their Area Of Expertise.
Experience With Clinical Research: The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience Conducting Clinical Research, Including Designing And Implementing Clinical Trials, Data Analysis, And Publication Of Results. This Experience Can Be Gained Through Previous Research Projects, Postdoctoral Training, Or Working In A Research Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Clinical/Translational Investigator Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Other Researchers And Healthcare Professionals. They Must Also Have Strong Interpersonal Skills To Interact With Patients And Effectively Communicate Complex Medical Information.
