Clinical Technician - Pediatric Phlebotomy

Responsibilities:

• Perform pediatric phlebotomy procedures in a safe and accurate manner
• Maintain a high standard of customer service while interacting with patients and families
• Understand and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to blood collection
• Ensure the accuracy of patient data and documentation related to blood collection
• Maintain and organize laboratory supplies and equipment
• Utilize strong knowledge of medical terminology as it relates to pediatric phlebotomy procedures
• Provide emotional support to children and families during stressful or challenging situations
• Review patient medical records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
• Monitor and record the condition of patients before, during, and after blood collection
• Stay current with best practices in pediatric phlebotomy and related procedures
