Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution: A Clinical Pharmacist At Duke University Health System Must Possess A Pharmd Degree From A Recognized And Accredited University. This Degree Provides A Strong Foundation In Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacotherapy, And Clinical Patient Care.
State Licensure And Board Certification: Candidates Must Be Licensed To Practice Pharmacy In The State Of North Carolina And Hold A Board Certification In Pharmacotherapy By The Board Of Pharmacy Specialties (Bps). This Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge, Skills, And Experience To Provide Effective Clinical Pharmacy Services.
Residency Or Fellowship Training: A Clinical Pharmacist At Duke University Health System Must Have Completed A Post-Graduate Residency Or Fellowship Program In Clinical Pharmacy Practice.
