1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients and their families in the perinatal unit.
2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
3. Utilize evidence-based practices to provide safe and effective nursing care.
4. Monitor and assess patients' physical and emotional well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
6. Educate patients and their families on postpartum care, newborn care, and breastfeeding techniques.
7. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
8. Utilize advanced technology and equipment to provide the best possible care.
9. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current on best practices and advancements in perinatal care.
10. Serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced nurses and other healthcare team members.
11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
12. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
13. Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
14. Continuously strive to improve the quality of care and processes within the perinatal unit.
15. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the nurse manager or supervisor.
