  1. Conduct initial assessments of patients to evaluate their mental and emotional health and identify any underlying psychological issues.
  2. Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, incorporating evidence-based interventions and techniques.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare providers to understand the medical needs of patients and develop integrated treatment plans.
  4. Provide individual and group therapy sessions for patients to address their mental health concerns and promote overall well-being.
  5. Monitor and track patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed and documenting all interactions and progress in patient records.
  6. Educate patients and their families on the role of psychological factors in overall health and provide resources for self-care and coping strategies.
  7. Conduct research and stay current on advancements in the field of clinical health psychology to continually improve and enhance patient care.
  8. Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  9. Attend regular team meetings and participate in case reviews to discuss patient progress and collaborate on treatment strategies.
  10. Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as attending conferences and workshops, to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of clinical health psychology.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree (Phd Or Psyd) In Clinical Psychology From An Accredited Program

  • Licensure As A Psychologist In The State Of North Carolina

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Clinical Or Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Medical Center

  • Specialization In Health Psychology Or Related Field, With A Strong Understanding Of The Biopsychosocial Model Of Health And Illness

  • Experience Conducting Psychological Assessments And Providing Evidence-Based Interventions For A Variety Of Medical Conditions And Populations.
