1. Coordinate and facilitate all communication for air medical transport team, including radio communications, phone calls, and other forms of communication.
2. Monitor weather and flight patterns to ensure safe and timely transport of patients.
3. Communicate critical information to air medical transport team, including patient condition, location, and any potential hazards.
4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all communication activities.
5. Serve as a liaison between air medical transport team, ground medical personnel, and other emergency response agencies.
6. Prioritize and manage multiple communication channels simultaneously.
7. Utilize critical thinking skills to make quick and accurate decisions in high-stress situations.
8. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
9. Maintain knowledge of emergency protocols and procedures, and assist in emergency response as needed.
