
Advanced Respiratory Care Practitioner
The Duke University Health System is looking for an Advanced Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of our patients. The successful candidate will provide advanced respiratory patient care services including assessments, treatments, and diagnostic procedures.The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited college or university, as well as a valid certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care. Additionally, a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is highly desired. We’re looking for a team player who is passionate about providing excellent patient care, as well as someone who works well in a fast-paced environment. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other health care professionals is key to success in this role. Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced respiratory patient care services including assessments, treatments, and diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain valid certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Utilize their knowledge, skills, and experience to provide outstanding patient care.
- Communicate effectively with other health care professionals to ensure the best possible patient care.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively with other health care professionals in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Document patient care services accurately and efficiently.
Graduate Of An Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
Licensed As A Respiratory Care Practitioner In The State Of North Carolina
Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience As A Respiratory Care Practitioner In A Critical Care Setting
Certified Or Eligible For Certification By The National Board Of Respiratory Care
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification
