- Greet and welcome employees and external stakeholders in a professional and friendly manner.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all HR-related inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel or resources.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining files and records.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, including collecting and organizing necessary paperwork and coordinating orientation.
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information in the HR database.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related communications and announcements.
- Coordinate and assist with various HR projects, such as training and development initiatives.
- Respond to and resolve employee inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct research and gather data as needed for HR reports and presentations.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HR policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between HR and other departments within the hospital.
- Proactively identify and suggest process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations.
- Keep abreast of industry best practices and trends in human resources.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input and ideas for enhancing HR processes and procedures.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude while representing Duke Regional Hospital Human Resources.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Administrative Assistant Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Proficient In Microsoft Office Suite And Other Relevant Computer Programs.
Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills.
Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal.
Knowledge Of Human Resources Processes And Procedures, Including Recruiting, Onboarding, And Employee Relations.
