- Conduct land surveys and analyze data to accurately determine property boundaries and topography.
- Coordinate and oversee land surveying projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Utilize knowledge of land surveying principles and techniques to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all surveying operations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop project plans and timelines.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and ensure project objectives are met.
- Manage a team of surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
- Review and approve survey data, reports, and drawings to ensure they meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in surveying technology, and make recommendations for improvement and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of surveying activities and project progress.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on surveying progress and any potential issues.
- Train and mentor junior surveyors to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Promote a culture of safety and adherence to safety protocols within the surveying team.
- Identify and resolve any project-related issues or challenges in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
Bachelor's Degree In Land Surveying Or Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Land Surveying, With At Least 2 Years In A Leadership Role
Professional Land Surveyor (Pls) Licensure In The State Of Florida
Extensive Knowledge Of Land Surveying Principles, Techniques, And Equipment
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Internal And External Stakeholders
