We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Nuclear Fuels Brunswick and Oconee Design Team. As a Nuclear Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and operation of our nuclear power plants.   1. Conduct design and analysis of nuclear power plant systems and components to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  2. Analyze and interpret data from plant operations to identify potential issues and implement solutions.
  3. Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to develop and implement design changes and upgrades to improve plant performance.
  4. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry advancements and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential areas for improvement.
  5. Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management and regulatory agencies.
  6. Participate in plant inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  8. Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the reliability and safety of plant systems.
  9. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians to develop their skills and knowledge in nuclear engineering.
  10. Participate in emergency response drills and actual events to provide technical support and ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
  11. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  12. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance plant performance and efficiency.
  13. Maintain professional development by attending conferences, workshops, and training programs related to nuclear engineering.
  14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for plant operations and maintenance.
  15. Demonstrate a strong commitment to the company's values and culture, including safety, integrity, and teamwork.
