  1. Conducting research and development to improve nuclear plant operations and efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Engineering Or Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Nuclear Engineering Principles And Concepts Is Essential For A Nuclear Eng Iii Or Senior Nuclear Engineer – I&C Role At Brunswick Nuclear Plant. A Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Engineering Or A Closely Related Field Is Typically Required For This Position.

  • Professional Engineering (Pe) License: Having A Pe License Is Highly Desirable For A Senior Level Nuclear Engineering Position. This Demonstrates A High Level Of Technical Competence And Expertise In The Field, And Is Often A Requirement For Leadership And Management Roles.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Nuclear Power: Duke Energy Is Seeking Candidates With A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working In The Nuclear Power Industry. This Experience Should Include A Strong Background In Instrumentation And Control Systems As Well As Related Equipment And Systems.

  • Familiarity With Nrc Regulations And Industry Standards: Nuclear Eng Iii Or Senior Nuclear Engineers At Brunswick Nuclear Plant Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Nrc Regulations And Industry Standards Related To Instrumentation And Control Systems. This Includes Knowledge Of Codes, Standards, And Guidelines Such As Ieee, Ansi, And Asme.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Role Of A Nuclear Eng Iii Or Senior Nuclear Engineer – I&C At Brunswick Nuclear Plant Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Systems And Identify Potential Issues Or Improvements. Candidates Should Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills, Attention To Detail, And The Ability To Work Well Under Pressure.
