  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC and electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with facilities and equipment to determine necessary repairs or replacements.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the facilities and maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and equipment inventory.
  6. Monitor energy consumption and make recommendations for improvements to increase energy efficiency.
  7. Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform repairs as needed.
  8. Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in HVAC and electrical systems to ensure the company is utilizing the most efficient and safe technology.
  10. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
  11. Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of cost-saving initiatives.
  15. Represent Duke Energy in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Hvac And Electrical Knowledge: Must Possess A Strong Understanding Of Hvac And Electrical Systems, Including Installation, Repair, And Maintenance.

  • Technical Skills: Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Hvac And Electrical Issues Using Technical Knowledge And Experience.

  • Certifications: Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Hvac And Electrical Maintenance And Repair, As Well As Relevant Certifications Such As Epa 608, Nate, Or Electrical License.

  • Safety Consciousness: Demonstrated Commitment To Safety Protocols And Procedures, Including Knowledge Of Osha Regulations And The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Hazards.

  • Communication Skills: Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Clients, And Management Regarding Project Updates, Issues, And Resolutions.
