- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC and electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with facilities and equipment to determine necessary repairs or replacements.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other members of the facilities and maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and equipment inventory.
- Monitor energy consumption and make recommendations for improvements to increase energy efficiency.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform repairs as needed.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in HVAC and electrical systems to ensure the company is utilizing the most efficient and safe technology.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
- Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of cost-saving initiatives.
- Represent Duke Energy in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Hvac And Electrical Knowledge: Must Possess A Strong Understanding Of Hvac And Electrical Systems, Including Installation, Repair, And Maintenance.
Technical Skills: Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Hvac And Electrical Issues Using Technical Knowledge And Experience.
Certifications: Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Hvac And Electrical Maintenance And Repair, As Well As Relevant Certifications Such As Epa 608, Nate, Or Electrical License.
Safety Consciousness: Demonstrated Commitment To Safety Protocols And Procedures, Including Knowledge Of Osha Regulations And The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Hazards.
Communication Skills: Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Clients, And Management Regarding Project Updates, Issues, And Resolutions.
