  1. Conduct research and analysis to identify potential solutions for residential energy needs and challenges.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for residential customers.
  3. Utilize technical expertise to design, test, and troubleshoot new energy technologies and systems.
  4. Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in energy technology to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  5. Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members as needed.
  6. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
  7. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to source necessary materials and equipment for projects.
  8. Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications and reports.
  9. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  10. Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve efficiency and reduce project expenses.
  11. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  12. Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and potential solutions.
  13. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent Duke Energy positively in all interactions with customers and stakeholders.
  14. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations for implementation.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field, With A Focus On Residential Development.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Engineering Design And Development Within The Residential Sector.

  • Proficiency In Autocad And Other Relevant Engineering Software.

  • Strong Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Regulations Related To Residential Development.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
