- Develop and implement strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent for the organization.
- Serve as a key point of contact for all HR-related inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to employees.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and create effective recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Conduct interviews and assist with the selection and hiring process.
- Manage all aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, including paperwork, orientation, and exit interviews.
- Develop and implement training programs to support the professional development of employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identify and address employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR to continuously improve processes and policies.
- Support performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and employee development plans.
- Collaborate with the HR team on various projects and initiatives to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance HR processes and procedures.
- Stay current on all HR laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk for the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Or A Related Field: A Human Resources Specialist At Douglas Elliman Should Have At Least A Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field To Demonstrate A Strong Foundation In Hr Principles And Practices.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Human Resources: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Human Resources, Preferably In A Real Estate Or Property Management Setting. This Experience Will Ensure They Have A Good Understanding Of The Specific Hr Needs And Challenges In The Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations: A Human Resources Specialist At Douglas Elliman Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Employment Laws And Regulations To Ensure Compliance In All Hr Practices And Processes.
