  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for all human resources inquiries and concerns from employees.
  2. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's values and goals.
  3. Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires, including conducting interviews and coordinating orientation.
  4. Support employee development and training initiatives, including identifying training needs and organizing workshops and seminars.
  5. Manage employee relations and address any issues or conflicts that arise in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  8. Administer employee benefits and coordinate open enrollment periods.
  9. Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement performance management processes.
  10. Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify areas for improvement in employee retention.
  11. Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
  12. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in human resources.
  13. Participate in company-wide initiatives and projects related to employee engagement and satisfaction.
  14. Provide support and guidance to managers and supervisors on employee-related matters.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Or Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Hr Principles, Practices, And Laws Is Essential For A Human Resources Specialist At Douglas Elliman.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Hr Experience: Previous Experience In An Hr Role, Preferably In A Real Estate Or Corporate Setting, Is Necessary To Understand The Unique Needs And Challenges Of The Industry.
