Lead and manage the data science and insights team, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the team's success.
Develop and implement a data strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Utilize data analytics and modeling techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform business decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, operations, and finance, to identify data needs and develop solutions to drive business growth.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data science and analytics, and apply them to improve and enhance our processes and methodologies.
Develop and maintain relationships with external data partners to access and utilize additional data sources for analysis.
Work closely with senior leadership to present data insights and make recommendations for strategic business decisions.
Develop and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of data-driven initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
Lead and participate in data-driven projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Data Science And Analytics: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Data Science And Analytics, With At Least 8-10 Years Of Relevant Experience. They Should Be Well-Versed In Statistical Modeling, Machine Learning, And Data Visualization Techniques.
Proficiency In Programming Languages And Tools: The Vice President Of Data Science & Insights At Domino's Pizza Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Programming Languages Such As Python, R, And Sql. They Should Also Be Familiar With Data Analysis Tools Like Tableau And Power Bi.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior Leader In The Organization, The Vice President Of Data Science & Insights Should Possess Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills. They Should Be Able To Effectively Manage A Team Of Data Scientists And Analysts And Communicate Complex Insights To Stakeholders Across Different Levels.
Business Acumen And Strategic Thinking: This Role Requires A Candidate Who Not Only Has A Strong Technical Background But Also A Deep Understanding Of The Business. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Use Data And Insights To Drive Strategic Decisions And Identify New Opportunities For Growth And Optimization.
Experience In The Retail Or Food Industry: While Not A Mandatory Requirement, Having Prior Experience In The Retail Or Food Industry Would Be Advantageous For This Role. It Would Give The Candidate A Better Understanding Of The Business, Its Challenges, And Its Customers, Allowing Them To Make More Informed Data-Driven Decisions.
