Responsibilities:

Monitor and direct the day-to-day operations of the transportation team, including scheduling, dispatching and delivery.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery performance.
Ensure that all safety guidelines and protocols are being observed by the delivery drivers.
Work with delivery drivers to ensure that customer orders are delivered on time and in a satisfactory condition.
Manage and resolve customer complaints related to delivery.
Maintain accurate records of delivery performance and other operational data.
Train and mentor new and existing delivery drivers in transportation operations and safety protocols.
Monitor and analyze delivery performance data to identify areas of improvement.
Work closely with other teams, such as the marketing and operations departments, to ensure that customer delivery needs are met.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
