- Manage and oversee all transportation operations for Domino's Pizza, including delivery of products to customers, supply chain logistics, and fleet management.
- Develop and implement transportation strategies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
- Monitor and maintain transportation budget, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Hire, train, and manage a team of drivers and transportation staff to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain and operations, to optimize delivery routes and processes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve transportation processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Investigate and resolve any transportation-related issues or customer complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, such as delivery schedules, vehicle maintenance, and driver logs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments in transportation technology to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Experience In Transportation Logistics: A Transportation Manager At Domino's Pizza Should Have Prior Experience In Managing Transportation Operations, Including Route Planning, Vehicle Maintenance, And Driver Management.
Knowledge Of Industry Regulations: Domino's Pizza Operates In A Highly Regulated Industry, And The Transportation Manager Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Transportation Laws, Regulations, And Safety Standards.
Leadership Skills: As A Manager, The Transportation Manager Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Oversee A Team Of Drivers And Other Transportation Staff. This Includes The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Team Members, Resolve Conflicts, And Make Quick Decisions.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Domino's Pizza Operates In A Fast-Paced Environment, And The Transportation Manager Should Be Able To Think On Their Feet And Quickly Resolve Any Transportation-Related Issues That May Arise. This Requires Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Remain Calm Under Pressure.
