Job Description

Recruiting, hiring and retaining exceptional people. Goal setting and Performance reviews for all direct reports. Responsible for professional development of payroll team members. Career Planning and Succession Planning for key payroll positions. Manage and ensure the accuracy, efficiency and timeliness of the day-to-day activities payroll. Oversee Year end Processing including testing, year- end adjustments and issuing of W2 forms Ensure payroll processes are in compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Manage vendors and hold them accountable to SLA’s. Oversee the processing and report data to governmental and internal sources. Maintain knowledge of payroll tax laws and current developments in payroll procedures. Ensure that tax changes are tested and implemented on time and accurately.

Job Qualifications

5 years payroll, compensation or related experience
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
Certified Payroll Professional status preferred
2 Years experience in major ERP payroll system (PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, etc), knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus
Systems Life Cycle experience including design, implement, test and roll out phases of automated modules
