
Store Non-Perishable Manager

- Oversee the procurement of non-perishable items for the store, ensuring an adequate and diverse selection of products.
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to effectively display and promote non-perishable items.
- Monitor inventory levels and make necessary adjustments to prevent overstocking or stock shortages.
- Train and manage a team of non-perishable department employees, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and coaching.
- Create and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate pricing, discounts, and promotions.
- Collaborate with other store managers to develop overall store layout and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction in the non-perishable department.
- Monitor sales, expenses, and profitability for the non-perishable department and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and constantly seek out new products to offer in the store.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify any discrepancies and take corrective action.
- Maintain a clean and organized non-perishable department, ensuring a safe and pleasant shopping experience for customers.
- Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment for all employees.
- Participate in store meetings and contribute ideas for improving overall store performance.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by upper management.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Retail Management, Preferably In A Store Setting.
Knowledge Of Non-Perishable Merchandise And Inventory Management.
Familiarity With Budgeting And Financial Management.
