High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Store Clerk At Dollar General Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Demonstrate Basic Education And Communication Skills.
Customer Service Experience: Prior Experience In Customer Service, Preferably In A Retail Setting, Is Important For A Store Clerk At Dollar General. This Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Interact With Customers And Provide Quality Service.
Cash Handling Skills: The Store Clerk Should Have Experience Handling Cash And Operating A Cash Register. This Will Help Ensure Accurate Transactions And Proper Handling Of Money.
Basic Math And Computer Skills: A Store Clerk Should Have Basic Math Skills To Handle Cash Transactions And Inventory Management. Knowledge Of Basic Computer Skills Is Also Important For Using The Store's Pos System And Inventory Management Tools.
