- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries, locating products, and fulfilling their needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and keeping the store tidy.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register and other point-of-sale systems.
- Follow store policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of customers, employees, and merchandise.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any stock shortages or overages to management.
- Assist in receiving and stocking merchandise shipments.
- Continuously learn about and stay up-to-date on products, promotions, and sales to effectively assist customers and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the store is adequately staffed and tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Adhere to all Dollar General standards, including dress code, attendance, and punctuality.
- Actively promote and maintain a positive work culture by fostering teamwork and providing support to fellow team members.
- Assist in training new store clerks and provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of store policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management to support the overall success of the store.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Basic Math And Cash Handling Skills.
Previous Retail Or Customer Service Experience.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Ability To Work Flexible Hours, Including Evenings And Weekends.
