  1. Greet and welcome customers to Dollar General in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and assisting with purchases.
  3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products and promotions in order to effectively assist customers and drive sales.
  4. Act as a role model and mentor to other sales associates, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  5. Assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
  6. Train and develop new sales associates to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  7. Monitor and maintain the store's appearance and organization, ensuring all merchandise and displays are properly stocked and presented.
  8. Use effective sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell products, maximizing sales and customer satisfaction.
  9. Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to meet sales targets and improve overall store performance.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the customer experience and provide feedback to the Store Manager.
  11. Assist with resolving customer complaints and escalate issues as necessary.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the company's values and mission.
  14. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in order to provide the best possible service to customers.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Retail Sales Experience, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Motivate A Team.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Merchandising Principles And The Ability To Implement Merchandising Strategies To Drive Sales.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Meet And Exceed Sales Targets And Kpis.
