1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for our fleet operations.
2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
3. Train and educate drivers and other employees on safe driving practices and regulations.
4. Monitor and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
5. Investigate accidents and incidents involving fleet vehicles and recommend corrective actions.
6. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement safety initiatives.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to fleet safety.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies, such as transportation authorities and insurance providers.
