  1. Develop and implement data protection strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the security and privacy of customer data.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, legal, and compliance to define data protection requirements and ensure alignment with company goals.
  3. Monitor and assess industry trends and best practices in data security to continuously improve and enhance our data protection measures.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to identify and address potential vulnerabilities in the data protection process.
  5. Manage and prioritize data protection projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on data protection, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and partners to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and standards.
  8. Analyze and report on key data protection metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  9. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to communicate data protection measures to customers and prospects, building trust and confidence in our products and services.
  10. Stay up-to-date on data protection laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and proactively addressing any changes or updates.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Understanding Of Data Protection Laws And Regulations: A Technical Product Manager For Service Data Protection At Docusign Must Have A Strong Knowledge Of Data Protection Laws And Regulations, Including Gdpr, Ccpa, And Hipaa. They Should Also Be Able To Stay Updated On Any Changes To These Laws And Anticipate Their Impact On Docusign's Products And Services.

  • Experience With Data Security And Encryption: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Data Security And Encryption Technologies. They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Encryption Methods And Protocols And Be Able To Implement Them Effectively To Protect Customer Data.

  • Technical Background: A Technical Product Manager For Service Data Protection Should Have A Technical Background, Preferably In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or A Related Field. This Background Will Enable Them To Understand The Technical Aspects Of Docusign's Products And Services And Make Informed Decisions On Data Protection Strategies.

  • Strong Project Management Skills: This Role Requires A Highly Organized Individual With Strong Project Management Skills. They Should Be Able To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously, Prioritize Tasks, And Meet Deadlines While Ensuring That Data Protection Measures Are Properly Implemented And Maintained.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Technical Product Manager, This Role Will Involve Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Engineers, Product Managers, And Legal Teams. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts And Work Collaboratively To Ensure Data Protection Measures Are Integrated Into Docusign's Products And Services.
