We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer, Backend to join our Agreement Template Authoring team at DocuSign. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend services that power our agreement template authoring platform. Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services for our agreement template authoring platform
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements
Writing clean, efficient, and scalable code in languages such as Java, Node.js, and Python
Troubleshooting and debugging technical issues and proposing solutions
Implementing and maintaining integrations with external systems and APIs
Ensuring the security and stability of our backend systems
Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members
Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and continuously improving our backend systems and processes
Proactively identifying and addressing potential technical challenges and risks
Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and discuss potential enhancements or changes
Mentoring and supporting junior team members to improve their technical skills and contribute to the team's overall success.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field
Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, Or C++
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Software Development, Specifically In Backend Development For Enterprise Applications
Experience With Cloud Technologies, Such As Aws Or Azure, And Microservices Architecture
Strong Understanding Of Database Design And Data Management, With Experience In Sql And Nosql Databases
