- Design, develop, and maintain the Common Data Platform for DocuSign
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Utilize cutting-edge technologies to continuously improve and enhance the data platform
- Write efficient and well-documented code that follows software engineering best practices
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in a timely manner
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for their implementation in the data platform
- Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Mentor and guide junior software engineers in their technical growth
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals
- Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap for the Common Data Platform
- Continuously improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity within the team.
Extensive Experience In Software Development: A Senior Software Engineer At Docusign Must Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Developing Software Applications, Preferably With A Focus On Data Platforms. They Should Be Well-Versed In Various Programming Languages And Have A Strong Understanding Of Software Development Principles And Best Practices.
Expertise In Data Management And Analytics: The Role Of A Senior Software Engineer At Docusign Involves Designing And Developing Data Platforms And Analytics Solutions. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Structures, Data Modeling, And Data Warehousing Concepts. Experience In Working With Big Data Technologies Like Hadoop And Spark Is Also Preferred.
Proficiency In Cloud Technologies: As A Leading Saas Company, Docusign Relies Heavily On Cloud Technologies For Its Data Platforms. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience In Building And Deploying Applications On Cloud Platforms Like Aws Or Microsoft Azure. Knowledge Of Containerization And Orchestration Tools Like Docker And Kubernetes Is Also A Plus.
