Develop clear and concise technical documentation for the DocuSign developer community.
Simplify complex concepts and technical information for easy understanding by non-technical audience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of documentation.
Stay updated with the latest APIs and programming languages to effectively communicate technical concepts.
Create user-friendly guides, tutorials, and other resources to help customers integrate and build on the DocuSign platform.
Review and edit existing documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Conduct research and gather information from multiple sources to create comprehensive technical documentation.
Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders on technical writing best practices.
Continuously improve and update existing documentation based on user feedback and changes in the DocuSign platform.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure our documentation remains relevant and effective.
Take ownership of assigned projects and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Technical Writing Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Technical Writing, Preferably In The Software Industry. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Programming Languages, Apis, And Software Development Processes.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Senior Programmer Writer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Creating Technical Documentation For A Variety Of Audiences, Including Developers, Product Managers, And End-Users. Therefore, Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills Are Essential.
Proficiency In Programming Languages And Tools: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding And Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, And Javascript, As Well As Experience Using Tools Such As Git, Jira, And Confluence.
Ability To Work Independently: The Ideal Candidate Should Be A Self-Starter And Able To Work Independently With Minimal Supervision. They Should Be Able To Manage Their Own Workload, Prioritize Tasks, And Meet Tight Deadlines.
