  1. Oversee all security operations for the DocuSign platform, including incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact for all security incidents, triaging and coordinating response efforts to minimize impact and ensure swift resolution.
  3. Develop and maintain comprehensive incident response plans and procedures, ensuring they are regularly tested and updated.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and legal, to ensure all security incidents are addressed effectively and in a timely manner.
  5. Utilize industry best practices and stay up-to-date on emerging threats to continuously enhance and improve security measures.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on security incident management, providing guidance and training to other team members.
  7. Monitor and report on key security metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  8. Conduct thorough post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
  9. Stay informed of all relevant security regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring the DocuSign platform remains in compliance at all times.
  10. Continuously evaluate and update security protocols and procedures to ensure the highest level of protection for customer data.
  11. Participate in on-call rotations and be available for after-hours incident response as needed.
  12. Foster a culture of security awareness and accountability throughout the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Security Operations: A Qualified Secops Incident Commander At Docusign Should Have A Strong Background In Security Operations, Including Incident Response And Management. This Will Ensure They Have The Necessary Skills To Effectively Lead And Coordinate Response Efforts During Security Incidents.

  • Knowledge Of Threat Landscape And Industry Best Practices: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Current Threat Landscape And Be Familiar With Industry Best Practices For Incident Response And Security Operations. This Knowledge Will Enable Them To Make Informed Decisions And Take Appropriate Action During Security Incidents.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As The Primary Point Of Contact During Security Incidents, A Secops Incident Commander Must Be Able To Effectively Lead And Communicate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Technical Experts, Business Stakeholders, And Senior Leadership. They Should Also Be Able To Remain Calm And Composed Under Pressure.

  • Experience With Security Incident Management Tools: Docusign Uses Various Tools And Technologies For Security Incident Management, Such As Siem, Threat Intelligence Platforms, And Response Automation. The Candidate Should Have Experience Working With These Tools And Be Able To Leverage Them Effectively During Security Incidents.

  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: In Today's Rapidly Evolving Threat Landscape, It's Crucial To Have A Secops Incident Commander Who Is Committed To Continuous Improvement. The Candidate Should Have A Strong Desire To Stay Updated With The Latest Security Trends, Tools, And Techniques And Proactively Identify Areas For Improvement In Docusign's Security Incident Response Processes.
